Stewardship

As you notice there are several collections you see every month, “Social Hall”, “Share Sunday,” and “Clergy Retirement.”  Have you been wondering what they are for and where the money is distributed? Here is a brief explanation of what we do with this money.

“Social Hall” collection helps pay the mortgage payment for the Social Hall which is used for all of our classes and social events.  We ask each family to donate $10.00 a month towards the Social Hall.

“Share Sunday” collection is given to several charities and organizations within the local area to include the ALMS House, Save the Babies, St. Isidore’s Mission, CARE Clinic and St. Ann’s Catholic School.  The donations of food and other items are donated to the ALMS House and Save the Babies, House of Refuge.

“Clergy Retirement” collection is sent to the Diocese to help with the retirement of priests and other clergy members.

Did you know that your offertory contributions can be done by BANK DRAFT?
So many of us find this such a convenient way to help with our budgeted items so why not consider using a bank draft for church!  Contact the church office to set this up.
