The Evangelization team is busy planning many exciting opportunities to explore our Faith and give us the courage to share it with others.
What is evangelization?
Simply put, it is sharing your faith in Jesus Christ with others.  In June, the parish completed the ChristLife series of courses, which enabled over 40 parishioners to feel comfortable to respond to their baptismal call and share their faith with others.

All the recent popes, including our current pope, Francis, strongly urge all Catholics to share the good news of Jesus with those who seem open to hearing about it.  The Evangelization Team asks all parishioners to pray the following prayer in response to the Pope's urging:

Gracious and merciful God, we pray that through the Holy Spirit all Catholics may hear the call to become missionary disciples and seek a deeper relationship with your Son, Jesus.

We pray that missionary discipleship will renew the Church, inspiring all Catholics to "go forth and make disciples of all nations" and transform society through the power of the Gospel.

We pray for all members of the Church, that we heed the words of Christ - "do not be afraid" - and strengthened by the Holy Spirit's gift of courage, give witness to the Gospel and share our faith with others.

We pray that all people yearning to know Christ and the Church may encounter him through the faithful
who witness his love in their lives.

Loving God, our Father, strengthen us to become witnesses to the saving grace of your Son, Jesus,
our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
